About HCA107 — Legal Aspects of Health Information Management

This course provides an in-depth examination of legal and ethical issues impacting the management of health information in a variety of healthcare settings. Students will explore federal and state regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, and other laws governing the privacy, confidentiality, and security of patient data.
